History
Founding process of Fethiye Faculty of Management has been completed when the council of minister decision numbered 2011/2260 was promulgated in the official gazette dated 24 October 2011and numbered 28094. Education activities at the level of bachelor degree will be conducted in five departments within the faculty, which are "Economics and Finance, Business Administration, Tourism Management, International Trade and Logistics, Management Information Systems".

Profile of the Department
Department of International Trade and Logistics targets to educate and supply work force, which endowed with contemporary business, entrepreneurship and management formation and skills, that public and private sectors need. The department is responsible hierarcially Deanship of Faculty and Rectorship and final decisions are made by sending to the relevant board of Deanship and Rectorship. The students are educated for several positions in both public and private sectors. The stakeholders that department of business administration interacts are Ministry of Culture and Tourism, State Planning Organisation, Agent of Developing, Tourism Investors, NGO's, Ministry of Labor, Ministry of Finance, and particularly universities, research instututes. The department tries to serve the best for the students with its qualified academic staff. In the department, the granted projects are carried out. It also contributes to the economic, socio-cultural development of the region and contributes to the employment market of country with its educated students and to the science world with its qualified academic researches.

OUTCOMES OF THE DEPARTMENT
Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University Fethiye Faculty of Business, International Trade and Logistics Department graduates will have the following qualifications:
1- Understand both professional and social ethical values.
2- Have an understanding of concepts, principles, theories and facts within the contexts of international trade and logistics.
3- Expresse his/her thoughts and suggestions in written and verbal forms in Turkish and in other language with European Language Portfolio minimum B1 level, communicates effectively with the stakeholders in work life.
4- Become skillful at using information and communication technology, and express the information about current international trade and logistics issues to others.
5- Have ability to monitor and interpret the current developments in national and international trade and logistics developments.
6- Have enough knowledge about relative branches of international trade and logistics and also learn the relations of these branches with international trade and logistics.
7- Have ability to provide the necessary methods, techniques and tools for the analysis and modeling of the international trade and logistics data and evaluate the results obtained.
8- Be conscious about quality, business ethics and social responsibility, environmental protection, occupational health and safety, social rights and social justice and works in line with this awareness in the business.
9- Have ability to interpret the economic, globalization, international trade, logistics, and economical fact-events in a historical perspective.
10- Become skillful at lifelong learning. Carries out studies regarding international trade and logistics topics.
OCCUPATIONAL PROFILES OF GRADUATES
The students who graduate from the department of International Trade and Logistics will be able to work in any public or private institution in Turkey as a manager or administrator. Our graduates who acquire the knowledge, examination and interpreting skills will be able to work in; any branch of industry, any stage and branch of banking, any institution of capital market, secretariat of treasury, insurance and finance companies. In addition, the range of employment possibilities of Economics and Finance graduates is quite wide because of the applicability and availability of courses in the program into practice and also local economic development process in Fethiye and in the region.
ACCESS TO FURTHER STUDIES
The students who succeed in bachelor level further in his postgraduate with thesis or non-thesis, in formal or evening education and distance education in case they succeed in Academic Postgraduate Exam, have sufficient English level and succeed in the exams offered by related institutions
EXAM REGULATIONS & ASSESMENT & GRADING
Exams consist of mid-terms, final exams, excuse exams, repeat exams, exemption exams and one course exam.
Mid-terms: There are mid-term exams for the courses that exist in every term. 40% of a mid-term exam is considered.
Final exams: There are final exams to test academic success at the end of the term. 60% of a final exam is considered.
Excuse exams: If a student has a valid excuse for the mid-term or final exams, related board allow for excuse exams. For the excuse exams, student must submit a petition, which explains the excuse, in 3 days to deanship/ management. Moreover, the excuse should be approved by related board.
Repeat exams: Students may take repeat exams for the courses, which are graded as FD or FF that they fail and which are graded as DD or DC that they pass, at the end of term. The point of a repeat exam substitutes for the final point of that course. The percentages of mid-term and repeat exams are assessed in the same way as final exams. For the repeat exams, final point is considered regardless of what was graded before.
Exemption exams: Exemption exams are set for the courses defined by the senate on the specified dates in academic calender.
One course exams: They are for the students who failed in one course and will graduate in case of succeeding in that course. Moreover, the students may take one course exam to increase their own average score, although they succeed all of the courses in the program, for the reason that they cannot graduate due to grade point average is less than 2,00. To take one course exam for graduation, a petition should be given to the head of department.
One can take this exam only once. For every course, students are graded at the end of the term as below by the lecturer of the course.

The assessments apart from the above, TT means failure becausse of absenteeism, MM means exemption for the course, GG success in course, KK means failure in the course, VV means abolished course. The studentsare graded as “TT” if they are absent in the courses and/or applied courses. The students, who succeed in Foreign Language Proficiency Exam, are exempt from the required foreign courses (English, German, French) and graded as “MM”. The students who succeed in Preparatory Foreign Language Program and internship graded as “GG”. The students who fail in Preparatory Foreign Language Program and internship graded as “KK”. For the courses which are abolished from the education program are graded as “VV” with the proposal of head of department and with the decision of board.
GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS
Students must succeed all of the courses exist in the program (equivalent to 240 ECTS) and grade point average must be minimum 2,00 over 4,00.
